  • 4 Year Old Conversation

    So we were in the car today & it's been a bit stormy here in Indiana. We were headed to the library & discussing how we were safe from storms because we were in our car. Cody asked, "Why are we safe?" I told him because our tires are made of rubber. He asked how that protects us. I told him the rubber keeps us from getting electrocuted by the lightning. He asked what electrocuted means. I told him lightning is made up of electricity. He asked what electricity is. I told him it's energy. He asked what energy is. I gave up...

    Now you know better. Instead of intelligently trying to educate your kids, you just need to do what every other parent does and say "The car keeps us safe from storms because I say so, the end."
